‘Piku’ Receives Words of Praise for Outstanding Acting and Practical Storyline

pikuNew Delhi, Thursday, May 14 – ‘Piku’ a flick that released across the nation last Friday has been receiving words of praise from all around thanks to a storyline to which many can associate. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that cine buffs turned up in nearby theatres with family and friends to watch it and enjoy a unique bonding of a daughter and father who get annoyed over a certain things and fight over several issues but more importantly, love and care for each other.

Hopes were definitely surging with Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ starring gorgeous Deepika Padukone as never before, veteran actor of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, a name that need no introduction. Weightage of the roles played by beautiful Moushumi Chatterjee, Raghuvir Yadav, Jishu Sengupta, Akshay Oberoi and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury is huge. Unmatched energy of the actors made the movie a ‘must watch’ for everyone.

Its director Sircar must be basking in glory of success as hard work paid off in an immaculate way at the end. A film is a hit or flop depends on several factors. Music plays pivotal role and soundtracks of ‘Piku’ touched many being pleasant on ears. Practical script probably set the base for its achievement as conflicts and medicines are nowadays inseparable parts of each household.

Parents’ health is above everything for kids and story is not going to be any different here. However, Piku Banerjee, an onscreen character played by Deepika, gets bothered every time his father Bhaskor comes with a new problem. The realism is shown beautifully after a long span on time. Creativity in describing general troubles of a family manner catches the eyes given that dynamics among lead roles change and see up & down in a funny way.

All sequences of the movie are synchronized in sheer perfection, compelling viewers to be seated. Box Office collection of ‘Piku’ has so far been impressive as it earned INR 25 crore in opening weekend. The figures are likely to go up post upbeat word of mouth from the audience.
