sushantNew Delhi, Tuesday, April 21 – The New Year kicked off on a quieter note for the Bollywood as only a few movies were able to be at par with hopes of cine buffs thanks too good storyline, direction and, of course, acting. In the midst of several medium budget films, the flicks that did a bit well were Arjun Kapoor & Sonakshi Sinha starrer Tevar, Crazy Cukkad Family, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, multi starrer movie Baby, Badlapur and Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

Dolly Ki Doli, Shamitabh, Hawaizaada and Roy did not match expectations of the audience who anticipated these films to be super hit. However, collections at the Box Office is likely to be high given that Gabbar, Shoojit Sircar’s Piku, Bombay Velvet having Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Kay Kay Menon in crucial roles, Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Welcome Back are all set to hit the multiplexes in May. No wonder if any of these flicks grab eyeballs as directors have poured cent percent efforts to make their films watchable. Hopes are up and viewers are looking forward to good concept.
