india vs sa2South Africa, Wednesday, December 11 – The third and final One Day International match between Indian and South Africa began today in Centurion. The hosts won the toss and elected to bat first. However, their decision to go for batting turned incorrect as soon as Mohammed Shami got the opener Hashim Amla out at square leg. Yuvraj Singh caught him brilliantly. The batsman just contributed 13 runs in the team score.

Henry Davids (1 run) and JP Duminy (0) were out on the brilliant piece of bowling by 25-year-old Ishant Sharma. Suresh Raina caught them both. After the double blow, AB de Villiers (13 runs off 25 balls) and Quinton de Knock (31 runs off 45 balls) stabilized South African innings. After 16 overs, total score of the host team was 64 on the loss of 3 wickets. South Africa is batting at the current rate of 4.21 per over.

India have already lost the 3-match series by 2-0 but they will put all the core efforts to win the final match against SA, which gave them tough competition throughout the series. As soon as the ODI ends today, both the teams will have to gather new strength for 2-match test series that will be played in South Africa from December 18 to 22 and December 26 to 30.
