BSE Benchmark Sensex Slips

sensexNovember 6 – Essentially on account of profit booking, Sensex closed its 5-day boom on November 5, skidding by nearly 265 points, or 1.25 percent, in order to finish at 20,974.79.

Drop of the previous day was massive in a month and appeared a day after Muhurat trading of November 3 observed the benchmark index increase 42 points.

Being HUL, Bharti Airtel, GAIL India, Infosys, Jindal Steel and L&T, Bajaj Auto, BHEL and TCS among the chief losers, 22 of 30 Sensex stocks fell.
